In Loving Memory of Trenton "Buba" Reilly Truman Devoted Son, Brother, and Friend It is with deep sorrow that we announce Trenton Reilly Truman's passing on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at his home in St. George, Utah.
Trenton was born on December 30, 1997, at St. George Hospital to his loving parents, Larry Truman and Shannon Truman-Hicks. From the very beginning, he brought incredible brightness into the lives of those around him.
An embodiment of joy and simplicity, Trenton found happiness in the little things—his cherished video games, days spent in the great outdoors shooting, and enjoying his favorite pizza and soda. Denny's was always his top choice when the family ventured out to eat, a testament to his unpretentious nature.
Those who knew Trenton often remember him as the tall guy with glasses whose formidable appearance belied his gentle and warm spirit. His unique ability to make others feel at ease, as well as his laughter and kindness, left a lasting impression.
For nearly seven years, Trenton worked at Home Depot on Telegraph Street, where he formed many meaningful connections and was cherished by colleagues and customers. His dedication was recognized with multiple Homer award patches, including the prestigious Diamond Homer Patch for Safety, a remarkable achievement as the first to receive it in his store. He was also honored as Employee of the Month on two occasions.
It was at Home Depot where Trenton found his true love, Alo. Though he started as a quiet and reserved individual, Alo's encouragement and support helped him blossom into a more outgoing version of himself, allowing him to embrace new experiences and friendships.
Trenton is lovingly remembered by his four brothers—Preston, Payson, Jaron, and Kelton—and his two devoted sisters, Tori and Jentrie. He is also survived by his mother, Shannon Truman-Hicks, and her husband, Leonard Hicks; his father, Larry Truman, and his wife, Cathy. Trenton holds a special place in the hearts of his grandmother, Carolyn; his uncle, Shonn; his aunt, Stacy; and his cherished cousins, Chris, Alexis, Taylor, and Karen. He is preceded in death by his older brother, Landon; his beloved grandfather, Reilly; and another set of cherished grandparents. Trenton's spirit and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
Trenton's kind and gentle spirit will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts. Although his absence is profoundly felt, his legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
