Robert Trott, age 70, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024 in St. George, Utah after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his immediate family and cherished dog, Avery.
Robert was born in Los Angeles, California--where he lived most of his life--to Jerome and Shirley Trott. He grew up a fan of USC football and Dodgers baseball, loving those teams until his passing, and from a very young age his parents instilled in him a passion for nature and national parks. During his life, he would explore many of America's national parks--from the top of Yosemite Falls to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. He would go on to attend the University of Southern California, where he received both bachelor's and master's degrees and where he met the love of his life and woman he would marry, Andrea. After graduation, Robert led a long career in movie and television post-production, in which he earned the lasting respect of his peers. Upon retirement, he and Andrea moved to St. George, Utah, where they enjoyed the area's natural beauty and performances at Tuacahn together.
Robert is survived by his wife; two children, Adam and Ashley; and two very special dogs, Avery and Alistair.
