Kevin James Johnson graduated unexpectedly from this early plane on June 21st, 2024 while at home in Ivins, Utah. Kevin was born to loving parents Bea and Everett Johnson, on November 17, 1962, in Richfield, Utah. After Graduating highschool, Kevin Studied diesel mechanics at Sevier Valley Tech. He married Stacy Musselman on November 13th, 1982, and had 2 children, Danielle and Jesse. They later divorced. Kevin proposed to his sweetheart, Debbie Celani, on November 24th, 2011. Through this union, Kevin gained 4 bonus children; Michael, Joey Lindsay, and Tina. Altogether, Kevin and Debbie have 19 grandchildren, whom they love with all their hearts. Kevin lived a remarkable life, touching many hearts along the way. From his work with youth/teens and their families, to his outdoor adventures with family and friends, Kevin created an atmosphere of love and laughter wherever he went. He was a diamond in the rough, a jewel with many facets and a jack of all trades. If something needed to be made or fixed, Kevin(powered by his favorite drink, code red) would find a way, and if ever there was a call for help, he was always there to answer. Kevin is survived by his wife, Debbie Celani; children, Danielle Smith, Jesse (Rebecka) Johnson, and Shaun (Kara) Cox, children, Michael (Sara) Massey; Joseph (Jennifer) Massey; Lindsay (Ray) Glover; and Tina Celani; sisters, Lisa Johnson, Cristy Johnson, and Melinda Tolbert; and grandchildren LeAnn & Zoey Smith; Lilly, Leah, & Hunter Johnson; Piper, Jeremiah, Natalie, & Nathan Cox; Jadyn, Emma, & Brennan Massey; Jacob, Jeremiah, Liam, & Elijah Massey; and Ruarie & Jack Glover. Kevin is Preceded in death by his parents, Bea & Everett Johnson; brother, Brian Johnson; and grandparents, Erah & John Kuykendahl, and Leah & James Johnson. Kevin worked many different Jobs in his life, some of which included: mining for Energy Fuels, maintenance for the Town of Fredonia, Fredonia-Moccasin School District, multiple youth intervention facilities, and his own venture, Teen Sentinels. Kevin also volunteered his time helping youngsters throughout the years by taking on roles such as teaching hunter’s education courses, and being a scout master for troop 366. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, hunting, fishing, and the like. Kevin’s family has been regaled with tales from multiple Teens & their families about the ways that he had been a saving angel in their lives. Kevin put his whole heart into his family, who often shared his adventures outdoors. Do you know what those big ants taste like? Many children learned countless survival skills with the use of his homemade jerky as a reward. Family and Friends will celebrate Kevin’s life on July 13th, 2024 at 4:30 Arizona time (5:30 Utah time) in the LDS Chapel located on 80 S Main Street in Fredonia, AZ.
