George V Romano, 1936-2025. George was a husband, dad, and a grandpa. He loved raising his two sons, Jere and Tony. He always helped them with school and in sports, especially baseball. He loved his grandchildren and participated in their lives whenever he could. George was a huge car buff and his 1966 Shelby Cobra was his favorite! As a youngster, George performed in vaudeville acts in Los Angeles. When he grew out of that, he worked at Santa Anita race track in Arcadia exercising the horses - he loved that too! He served in the army several years; he worked as a teletype operator and in the motor pool. After that, George graduated from Cal state Los Angeles. Then worked for the City of Los Angeles as an accountant and grant specialist for 25 years. In retirement, George was working on restoring a 1951 Ford sedan.
